Job Summary:

The Gift Shop Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. This role involves assisting guests with purchases, managing inventory, maintaining store cleanliness, and promoting resort merchandise and high-end third-party brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service.
• Assist guests with product selection, purchases, and returns.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for sales transactions.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including merchandising displays.
• Restock merchandise and monitor inventory levels.
• Provide product knowledge and promote resort merchandise and third-party brands.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Process special orders and guest requests efficiently.
• Assist with inventory counts and loss prevention measures.
• Collaborate with the Retail Manager on promotions and store initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate a POS system; Micros experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Interest in fashion and luxury retail is a plus.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• • $22.00 per hour.
