Residential Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of residential properties. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Perform repairs such as welding, painting, and general carpentry to maintain property standards
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repairs
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using the maintenance app called MaintainX
• Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members during complex repair projects
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes during all maintenance activities
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and residential painting
• Proficiency in welding and general construction skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Supervising experience or leadership capabilities for team coordination
• Customer service orientation with a professional attitude toward residents and clients
• Knowledge of manufacturing or industrial maintenance practices is a plus
• Basic understanding of safety procedures related to electrical work, welding, and mechanical repairs

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
