Massage Therapist

Duties

• Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Educate clients on pain management strategies and occupational health practices
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and patient progress
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including medical terminology and anatomy protocols
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Stay current with industry trends and continuing education in medical spa practices and massage therapy techniques

Experience

• Proven experience in patient service and customer care within a medical or spa setting preferred
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for effective treatment planning
• Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques highly desirable
• Background in occupational health or med spa environments is a plus
• Strong understanding of patient assessment procedures and treatment customization required
• Prior experience working with diverse client needs and maintaining confidentiality is preferred
