Member Service Representative

Overview
Join our team at Riverside Community Federal Credit Union as a Member Service Representative. We are seeking a friendly, accurate, and efficient individual to help service our members with their financial needs. This is a full-time position. May require occasional Saturday shifts from 9 A.M.-12 P.M.

Duties

• Greet and assist members in person, by phone, or electronically in a profession and courteous manner
• Open new accounts and maintain existing member accounts
• Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
• Respond to member inquires and resolve issues accurately and efficiently
• Educate members on our financial products that would benefit their banking experience
• Ensure compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of member information and safeguard financial data
• Balance cash drawers and ensure accuracy or daily transactions
• Support branch operations and assist team members as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service or financial institution experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic math calculations
• Proficiency with computers and banking systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and a member-focused mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
