Full Time Armed Security Officer

Position Overview

Pratt Security Services LLC is seeking professional, dependable Full-Time Armed Security Officers to provide security services at a residential apartment community in Southern Pines NC. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for residents, guests, staff, and property while upholding company policies and North Carolina security regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of the property
• Monitor and deter suspicious or criminal activity
• Enforce property rules and regulations professionally and fairly
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
• Observe, document, and report security incidents accurately and thoroughly
• Assist residents and staff as needed while maintaining a visible security presence
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required
• Monitor access points and ensure only authorized individuals are on the property
• Maintain professionalism, proper uniform appearance, and situational awareness at all times

Requirements

• Valid North Carolina Armed Security Guard Registration (preferred)
• Experience preferred, but not required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Training, Certification & Compliance

• We provide training and will assist qualified candidates with PPSB certification
• Firearms training and qualification provided if needed
• Drug testing required
• Detailed background check required
• References required and all references will be verified

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
