Overview:
The Cantina Lead oversees daily food and beverage operations within the club's cantina. This position ensures excellent member service, quality food handling, and compliance with TABC and health regulations. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and capable of leading by example in a fast-paced environment.
Supervise daily cantina operations, work morning shift 7:45-1, ensuring cleanliness, organization, efficiency, and reporting.
Train, and lead cantina staff to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service.
Maintain inventory of food, beverages, and supplies; place orders and monitor costs.
Handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately and responsibly.
Ensure all TABC, food handler, and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
Prepare and serve beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) in accordance with club policies.
Assist with special events, tournaments, and member gatherings.
Communicate with management regarding staffing needs, maintenance issues, and supply orders.
Promote a positive, team-oriented environment focused on member satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in food & beverage service, bar, or hospitality required.
TABC certification and Food Handler's License required (or ability to obtain).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and event hours.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
