Sales Associate/Manufacturing

Overview
As a Retail Sales Associate, you're one of the faces of Mattress Mill for everyone who interacts our store. This role learns all aspects of working in the store, including sales and providing kind customer service. You'll receive all the training you need to recommend the ideal mattress for a customer's comfort needs and budget. Along with answering phone calls, customer/interior designer emails, and website form submissions.

This role has several additional tasks such as:

• Scheduling our delivery routes (2-6 hrs per week)
• Receiving inbound shipments (2-4 hrs per week)
• Production / Delivery: (6-8 hrs per week)

We are projecting to grow in the next 5 years and we want someone who desires to grow with us and help us with aspects they have experience in.

Responsibilities

• Create a great shopping experience by engaging with customers in a warm, friendly manner
• Drive sales by recommending products and solutions that meet customers' needs
• Perform cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges
• Assist with store inventory
• Delivery Scheduling
• Inbound shipment receiving
• Assist Production
• Assist Deliveries

Job Details

Pay: $25 hr.

Shifts and Schedule

Option A:

• 4 Day work week:
• Wednesday - Saturday
• 7-5 Wed, Thurs, Fri
• 8-5 Saturday
• 37-38 Hrs per week

Option B:

• 5 Day work week
• Tuesday - Saturday
• 8-5 Tues-Fri
• 9-5 Saturday
• 41-42 hrs per week

Every 4th and if a 5th Saturday happens, of a month, off.

The weeks you do not work a Saturday, you work an extra weekday.

The first and foremost priority is how you interact with your co-workers; We desire an upbeat, encouraging, personality that influences other team mates to diligent work, promoting organized and planned project/build sessions, and jumping in where help is needed.

Of course, as a sales associate, you're interfacing with customers in person, over the phone, and email, and obviously we are looking for a calm, happy, good at listening / reflecting a customer's concerns or desires, then spring boarding that into mattress options for them to consider.
