Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed to enhance customer experience

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or retail environments
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization options
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Outstanding customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
