Occupational Therapist (OT) - Acute Hospital
Location: Salina, KS
Pay: $ $45.00 hourly
Shift: Days 8 hours Full Time Day shift
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the Acute Hospital team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Evaluate patients to assess occupational therapy needs and functional abilities
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to professional occupational therapy practice
- Maintain current Kansas Occupational Therapist license or obtain licensure if eligible
- Obtain CPR certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support or Basic Life Support) within 90 days of employment
- Provide occupational therapy services in acute care hospital setting
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Participate in on-call duties as assigned
- Work weekends as scheduled and discussed during interview process
- Adhere to professional standards and facility policies for occupational therapy practice
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Acute Hospital experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
