Responsibilities:
- Complete administrative and technical tasks to support the department
- Maintain an understanding of individual client contracts, benefit set up and responsibilities associated with assigned clients;
- Effectuate data analysis and generates reports including but not limited to all clinical and utilization impact, member disruption and trend reports
- Export and disseminate reports to departmental staff members
- Interpret reports and analyzes trends; make recommendations based on analyses;
- Respond to questions, provides clarifications, and addresses technical issues on behalf of the department
- Interpret, document and partner with Operational teams to ensure accepted recommendations are implemented in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide technical support for implementations and re-implementations
- Compile data and documentation and actively participates in audits and potential client proposals
- Complete tasks and assignments for assigned plans with minimal day-to-day oversight and direction;
- Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned
Education/Experience:;
- Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of current/recent experience in managed care
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Preferred:
- Current, unrestricted National Pharmacy Technician Certification (NHA or PTCB)
- Associate's degree
