RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking an Art Director to join for an approximate 6-month project
This position is a full-time, Monday-Friday position to be based in Seattle, WA. Candidates must be willing to commute to the on-site location 5 days per week.
We are looking for a talented and highly conceptual Art Director to develop impactful visual creative across a wide range of projects. This role leads initiatives from brief through execution, balancing strong ideation with refined design craft to deliver thoughtful, insight-driven creative. You will translate complex needs into clear, compelling concepts and end-to-end experiences, spanning video, presentation design, UI layouts, event signage, swag, and more. The ideal candidate brings both conceptual strength and hands-on design ability, with a deep understanding of design tools and UX principles and a dedication to producing high-quality, customer-centered work.
As an Art Director, You Will:- Concept, design and execute innovative creative for events, digital experiences, and integrated campaigns
- Partner closely with writers, designers, program managers, developers, strategists and producers to create solutions that meet goals and elevate the customer experience
- Independently lead creative workstreams, building strong partnerships with internal collaborators and external partners
- Use data and insights to inform campaign strategy, visual direction and design execution
- Present ideas and creative concepts to cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop work across print, digital, experiential, web and social touchpoints
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, timelines and budgets
- Demonstrate strong storytelling, presentation, time management and attention to detail throughout all phases of a project
As an Applicant, You Bring:
- Experience as a conceptual creative or Art Director within an agency or in-house environment
- A strong online portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, art direction, branding and design execution
- Expertise in industry-standard design tools including Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator and Figma, along with a solid understanding of UX design
- Ability to create data-informed work with a focus on measurable impact
- Strong presentation, communication, collaboration and organizational skills
- A high level of craft and ownership of assigned projects
- Comfort working autonomously, navigating ambiguity and managing multiple priorities
- Experience collaborating across time zones is a plus
- Motion design skills are a plus

Compensation
Pay Range: $ $68.00 (Hourly)
The successful candidate's pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
