Job Description
As a Contracts Administrator, you will draft, review, and manage a variety of contractual documents such as Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Engineering Design Development (EDD) quotations. You will evaluate and negotiate costs, terms, and conditions for Purchase Orders, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency while safeguarding intellectual property. This role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders to accurately assess and reduce overall vehicle development costs. You will utilize SAP ECC and the L2 Approval process for contract and purchase order management, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements. Effective communication with suppliers and internal teams is essential for resolving issues and clarifying terms, as well as providing guidance on contract interpretation and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage contractual documents such as SOWs, MSAs, NDAs, and EDD quotations.
- Evaluate and negotiate costs, terms, and conditions for Purchase Orders, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.
- Manage contracts related to Engineering Design Development and in-vehicle software development fees.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and reduce vehicle development costs.
- Utilize SAP ECC and the L2 Approval process for contract and purchase order management.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and clarify terms.
- Provide guidance on contract interpretation and compliance.
- Proven experience in contract administration and procurement.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in Contract Administration.
- At least 2 years of negotiation experience within procurement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Understanding of contract law and legal principles.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Adobe for contract redlining, editing, and signing.
- Experience in the automotive industry or engineering-related contracts.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This position is based onsite at the Research & Development center and offers a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home. The typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a flexible start. Enjoy a long-term opportunity with paid time off, holiday pay, and paid shutdowns during Christmas and July.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $ $39.00/hr.
