Housekeeping/Laundry Team Leader

Midwest Covenant Home Inc. in Stromsburg, NE is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping/Laundry Team Leader to oversee our housekeeping & laundry teams. As a Housekeeping/Laundry Team Leader, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

As a Housekeeping/Laundry Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate and schedule housekeeping & laundry staff
• Work alongside the housekeeping & laundry staff daily
• Training new housekeeping & laundry staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
• Inspecting rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies
• Handling any housekeeping & laundry-related issues or complaints
• Supervise day-to-day laundry functions & delivery of daily laundry
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed
• Submit accident/incident reports to the Administrator on the shift in which they occur

The ideal candidate for the Housekeeping/Laundry Team Leader position will have previous experience in housekeeping & laundry or a related field, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are also essential for success in this role.
