Job description:

Sunset Vacations has been in the business of managing vacation rental homes on islands of Sunset Beach since 1984. We are dedicated to serving our homeowners in a professional, competent, and courteous manner, while providing a relaxed, enjoyable environment for our guests and our employees.

Sunset Beach is a small island near the NC/SC border. We're approximately 20 minutes from North Myrtle Beach, SC and 60 minutes from Wilmington, NC.

We're seeking enthusiastic candidates with positive attitudes and personable communication skills. Successful candidates come from a variety of environments including retail sales, service industry, education and other professional fields. Experience in the vacation industry is not required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assisting guests with reservations and inquiries both in person, on the phone, and email.

Greeting homeowners and guests

Handling minor maintenance calls, work orders, and guest issues

Assisting in other departments as needed

Scheduled On Call; after-hours guest assistance

Schedule:

5-day work week includes every Saturday, April through September and alternating Saturdays, October through March

4-day work week with full pay every other week, December through February

Our office is closed on Sundays

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Excellent communication skills, oral and written - in person, phone, and email

Experienced and comfortable working with computers and internet-based software

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs

Physical Requirements - requires ability to climb stairs at our beach homes

Must have own transportation; Reimbursed work mileage required

Must live within a 30 minute drive of the Sunset Beach
