About the RoleAs a Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Working closely with physicians and nursing staff, you'll support clinical operations through patient assessments, scribing, procedures, and education—making a real impact every single day.
What Your Day Will Look LikeNo two days are the same—but each one is rewarding. You will:
- Room and prepare patients for exams and scribe during visits as directed
- Obtain and document patient histories and clinical information
- Accurately document chief complaints, exams, assessments, prescriptions, and test results using EMA software
- Administer numbing agents and assist with biopsy and surgical procedures
- Relay prescription information to pharmacies via phone, fax, or e-prescribing
- Input MIPS questions to support division and corporate goals
- Communicate pathology and lab results to patients
- Triage patient calls and provide physician-guided clinical advice
- Schedule procedures and coordinate prior authorizations and referrals
- Promote wellness through patient education and clear communication
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant with EMR and scribing
- A team-first mindset and strong communication skills
- Ability to work well with providers and colleagues at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail and reliability
- Strong computer skills and comfort with EMR systems
- Ability to follow OSHA safety and privacy guidelines
- At least 1 year of recent medical office experience
Current BLS certification
Bonus Points If You Have
At least 1 year of dermatology experience
- Experience using EMA software
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
