Job Summary:
The Electrical Apprentice / Helper will assist technicians on various multifamily electrical projects assigned by Supervisor or Service Coordinator.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of various electrical systems, both indoor and outdoor.
• Perform duties assigned by the Service Tech or Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Help with Install wiring in multifamily homes
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout workday.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be able to pass a full background check, drug test and DMV
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week, including overtime if required.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous electrical experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.
• Work in confined attic or crawl spaces.
• This is an hourly position requiring the employee to record the working hours on a personal smart phone app.
