We're partnering with a stable, long-tenured manufacturing organization to hire an
Engineering Project Manager
. This role is a succession opportunity, in the next 2–3 years, with mentorship and a clear path into leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in project management and Lean manufacturing
• Experience with
  G-Code / CNC programming
  (AP100 or similar)
• Experience with SolidWorks for prints, models, and manufacturability
• Background in sheet metal, machining, punch press, die casting, injection molding, or plastics
• Proactive, approachable leader with strong communication skills

What You'll Do:

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using AP100 or similar G-code platforms.
• Support machining operations on the floor—troubleshoot programs, tooling, setups, and process issues in real time.
• Improve manufacturability of parts through toolpath optimization, fixture design, and cycle time reduction.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve engineering and machining challenges quickly and effectively.
• Lead continuous improvement and Kaizen events to drive Lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation including work instructions, routings, and program standards.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and throughput metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure on-time project delivery for both internal and external customers.
• Train and mentor operators and team members on CNC programming and best practices.
• Promote a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment.
