As we grow, we are seeking an experienced and organized Roofing Operations Manager to keep our projects running efficiently and ensure that quality and timelines stay on track.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

This is a hybrid remote position best suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the urgency and complexity of roofing project management. While most of the work is done remotely, occasional site visits are required. Candidates must reside in the Los Angeles area and have a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate will have deep roofing experience, be a strong communicator, and able to coordinate across multiple teams and tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PROJECT LAUNCH & OVERSIGHT

• Review job approval checklist, contract scope, and homeowner selections to prepare for job start
• Coordinate internal kickoff steps: brief sales notes, confirm shingle and edge metal colors, and assign crew
• Confirm start date with the homeowner and send welcome call with next-step expectations
• Conduct safety meetings with crews on-site when needed and ensure OSHA compliance

OPERATIONS & SCHEDULING

• Build and manage project timelines using AccuLynx and internal trackers
• Order materials and confirm delivery logistics with suppliers and crews
• Monitor WhatsApp and job photo updates to track daily progress and resolve issues quickly
• Ensure all milestones, job phases, and schedule changes are clearly documented and communicated

ESTIMATING & JOB SETUP

• Prepare and review project estimates using tools like AccuLynx, iRoofing, or SumoQuote to ensure accuracy, profitability, and alignment with job scope
• Collaborate with sales and production to confirm takeoffs, measurements, and material specs prior to scheduling
• Ensure estimates reflect all known variables and serve as the foundation for the financial worksheet and contract execution
• Adjust or revise estimates as needed based on change orders or pre-production walkthroughs

CHANGE ORDERS & FINANCIAL TRACKING

• Proactively identify and document change orders — including pricing, photos, and homeowner approval
• Update financial worksheets in real time to reflect cost adjustments and margin tracking
• Issue change order and final invoices promptly through AccuLynx
• Register manufacturer warranties (e.g., GAF) after job completion, if applicable

INTERNAL COLLABORATION & WORKFLOW OWNERSHIP

• Review new leads (REMI or in-house) and approve for group assignment
• Manage job folders, communication logs, and pinned scopes within AccuLynx
• Lead virtual team check-ins to align on schedule changes, job issues, and priorities
• Provide operational guidance and support to sales, production, and admin teams
• Assist with training of new hires on tools and workflow best practices

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in roofing operations
• Must reside in Los Angeles County or surrounding area
• Valid driver's license and ability to attend job sites as needed
• Strong proficiency in AccuLynx, iRoofing, WhatsApp, and project management tools
• High-level organizational skills and ability to manage shifting priorities
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
• Must thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability work environment
