Our team is growing, and we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Neurotechnician to join our mission-driven practice.
Position Overview:
As a Neuro Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our patients' treatment journeys by administering and monitoring qEEGs (quantitative EEGs), delivering MeRT/TMS therapy sessions, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. You'll work closely with our clinicians, patients, and families to ensure a positive, therapeutic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and record qEEG brain scans following protocol and safety procedures
- Administer MeRT/TMS therapy using specialized equipment under the supervision of clinical staff
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for each patient session
- Monitor patient comfort and respond to questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient responses
- Assist with patient onboarding, education, and scheduling support as needed
- Ensure cleanliness, calibration, and safety of equipment and workspace
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support individualized treatment planning
- Participate in occasional work events on weekends
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, psychology, healthcare, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a medical, mental health, or neurotechnology setting is a plus
- Strong computer skills and comfort working with clinical software
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with children, families, and individuals with neurodiverse needs
- Calm under pressure, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to undergo training and certification in MeRT protocols
Preferred but Not Required:
- RBT certification or background in behavioral therapy
- Medical Assistant, EEG tech, CNA, EMT or RBT experience preffered
