Delivery Driver

Summary: Drives an 18-foot refrigerated Box truck to and from our bakery (CML) and/or customer locations unloading/loading and delivering products within required driving range and time. As well as bringing back the CML equipment, in good condition from the previous night. Drives safely following all regulations and laws. Maintains accurate and timely records of driving hours, delivery tickets, and other forms as required by CML policy.

This is an Evening / Overnight position. Driver shifts begin approx. 10pm and end 4am approx.

No CDL required, however, we pay a competitive rate, medical benefits, and 401(k) Plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Be responsible for the timely delivery of products to local destinations.
• Maintain the truck in good working order which would include but not limited to keeping the truck clean and presentable and report all discrepancies of the truck.
• Maintain your license in good standing with the government.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. The employee may be asked to assist in training new hires.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of one-year proven track record of truck driving experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Job Requirements

• No CDL required.
• Proven working experience as a delivery driver
• Valid State drivers license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• High school degree
