Dispatcher/Payroll Entry

As the leading provider of comprehensive solid waste and recycle services, CWD provides collection, recycling and disposal services to municipal, commercial, industrial and residential customers throughout the DFW metroplex and surrounding areas. Due to our extensive growth we have the following position available:

Bilingual Transportation Dispatcher/Payroll Data Entry

This position is responsible for utilizing telephone systems to dispatch on a daily basis over 100+ trucks and drivers and communicating with other internal departments and outside customers. This position handles inquiries from transportation supervisors/managers and other internal departments, is responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed written and computerized records, and the timely and accurate execution of other related duties. Able to accurately enter daily driver records for Payroll.

Expected Qualifications:

The person in this position should have the following credentials and skills:

• Solid communication skills in English AND Spanish, including written and verbal.
• Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in windows-based computer and computer systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Be a quick learner and able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Experience in the waste or transportation industry preferred
• Ability to work well independently and /or in a small team environment.
• Two years dispatching experience or a combination of education, training, and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the required duties.

Normal work days are Monday - Friday, and some scheduled Saturday work required. Work days and hours do vary depending on seasonal demands.

Wage is negotiable based on qualifications and experience with a range of $15.00-$17.00 an hour. We offer benefits such major medical plans, dental insurance, 401K, and profit sharing.
