Integration Engineer(Workato + NetSuite OR Workato + Workday)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer with strong hands-on experience using Workato to build, maintain, and optimize integrations across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have integration experience with either NetSuite or Workday, along with deep understanding of APIs, automation workflows, and data transformation.You will play a key role in designing scalable integrations, troubleshooting complex workflows, and enabling seamless data exchange for business-critical processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain integrations using Workato Recipes, connectors, and workflows.
• Develop integrations between : Workato + NetSuite (SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP APIs) or

Workato + Workday (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST APIs)

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and monitoring dashboards within Workato.
• Optimize existing integrations for performance, reliability, and automation.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, API issues, authentication problems, and data discrepancies.
• Build workflows using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML mappings, data transformations, and conditional logic.
• Maintain detailed documentation for integration flows, configurations, and best practices.
• Participate in testing cycles, deployment activities, and version-controlled development processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Workato (required).
• Integration experience with either : NetSuite (SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, saved searches, workflows, REST/SOAP APIs) OR Workday (Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS, REST APIs)
• 3–8 years of experience in system integrations, automation, or middleware.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, authentication models (OAuth, Tokens), and JSON/XML mapping.
• Experience designing scalable and reusable integration frameworks on Workato.
• Knowledge of iPaaS concepts, middleware patterns, and event-driven integrations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for debugging integration issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Boomi, MuleSoft, Jitterbit, SnapLogic, or other iPaaS tools.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or Workday functional modules (Finance, HR, Payroll).
• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud-based automation workflows.
• SQL scripting or ETL experience.
