Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Engineering Department Manager. The Engineering Department Manager will oversee and lead teams of mechanical and electrical engineers, manage projects, and ensure successful integration of technical and operational aspects. Responsibilities include planning and executing engineering projects, guiding team members, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. The role also requires strategic decision-making to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills
- Experience in mechanical or electircal design engineering
- Proficiency in Project Management and effective planning practices
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Experience in critical facility design is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as business presentation skills.
- The ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff across organizational lines, including other client business units.
- Must be located in the United States
- This is NOT a software engineering role
