DIETARY AIDES, Part Time – Generations Oakton Arms, Des Plaines, IL

Generations at Oakton Arms, an Independent and Assisted Living Facility in Des Plaines, IL, has an Immediate Opening for a Part Time Dietary Aide. The Schedule is Monday - Sunday, from 3 pm - 7 pm:

*New Higher Pay Rate of $17 per hour*

Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide:

• Assist the chef in the preparation and service of food and beverages

• Coordinate daily dietary services with the nursing staff

• May serve food to bed residents

• Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal Food Sanitation Codes

• Ensure that work area is consistently clean and safe

Requirements

of the Dietary Aide:

• Illinois Food Sanitation Certification (or ability to attain this upon hire)

• Some experience in a food preparation environment a plus

• Must be able to understand, speak and write English

• Good verbal communication skills

• Compassion, understanding and tolerance for older adults
