This role will play a pivotal role in the company by shaping financial strategies, establishing procedures, and strengthening the budgeting & forecasting process at the Northridge Site. This is an important position that requires dynamic leadership and collaboration across departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to budgeting and financial analysis. The role will focus on financial planning and analysis but will also carry a range of responsibilities within the team, requiring strong organization skills, leadership abilities, exceptional attention to detail and extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Roles Responsibilities:

• Assist in financial planning and analysis for strategic projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Assist in building financial models and analysis to support strategic decision-making and investment opportunities.
• Collaborate in the development of financial metrics and KPIs: will work with management to identify key financial metrics and KPIs that align with the company's strategic objectives.
• Monitor and report progress towards strategic goals and report on key metrics and KPIs to management.
• Partner with functions / Departments at the Site to support them in understanding their numbers and implement effective budget control.
• Provide monthly internal reporting to management including standard financial reports, department P&Ls, and Project margin reports
• Provide monthly reporting to accounting team to assist with estimating recurring accruals
• Drive simplification, standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls to achieve effective financial reporting and internal controls.
• Ability to explain technical accounting to non-finance teams.
• Support the Head of Finance and Finance Director on ad-hoc projects as needed.

Basic Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university in accounting/finance or related field. 
• 3+ years relevant work experience in manufacturing and cost accounting** 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel skills 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills 
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (D365) 
• Able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels and with various professional backgrounds
