Join our bustling logistics hub in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and a thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures are essential. Your role is critical in maintaining the efficiency and integrity of our supply chain. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. If you are a certified forklift operator with a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with put-away and retrieval of inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Properly use all required PPE and safety equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrable experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory control.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Safety is paramount in this role. We provide ongoing training and ensure all necessary PPE is available to our Forklift Operators to maintain a secure logistics environment.
