Seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer for our Phoenix, Arizona facility! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, picking them accurately according to order slips, and carefully packing them for shipment. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount; you must follow all safety procedures and consistently wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves physical activity, including walking, standing, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order requests.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines.
- Use required PPE during all work activities.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
