We are looking for an efficient and reliable Order Picker to join our dedicated warehouse team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your ability to work quickly and meticulously is essential for maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring timely shipments. This position is physically demanding and requires constant movement throughout the warehouse. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE, is expected. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations based on pick lists or scanner.
- Verify product codes and quantities for accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for loading and transportation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Properly use and wear all required PPE.
- Report any damaged products or safety hazards immediately.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and labels.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations.
- Must be able to wear and use required PPE.
