We have an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Clerk in our Tampa, Florida warehouse. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all outbound shipments. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, verifying order details, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of warehouse Logistics. You will be a critical link in our supply chain, ensuring that products reach their destinations efficiently and without error. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to all protocols is mandatory. We are looking for a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, etc.).
- Verify order accuracy against shipping documents.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Track shipments and provide status updates.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and files.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipping inquiries.
- Operate shipping software and WMS.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with tasks that may involve moderate Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Support the overall Logistics operations of the facility.
- Promote a strong sense of Safety among the team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar administrative/warehouse role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and WMS is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Logistics and shipping procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
