We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing inventory control procedures to ensure the integrity of our warehouse stock. This role is critical to our supply chain operations, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to reconcile stock levels, manage warehouse organization, and contribute to overall operational efficiency. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain optimal stock levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential issues.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate stock assignment.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Generate inventory reports and analyze data.
- Ensure proper organization and placement of inventory within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve stock-related issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall success of our Logistics operations.
- Promote a culture of Safety within the warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work flexible hours if needed.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the importance of accurate inventory management in a fast-paced Logistics environment.
