Are you an experienced leader ready to take on a new challenge? We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Grand Rapids, Michigan facility. In this key role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage a team of associates, and ensure the efficient and safe flow of goods. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, optimizing workflow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and enforcing safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor warehouse associates.
- Plan and assign daily tasks to the team.
- Monitor workflow and productivity to meet operational goals.
- Ensure all inventory is received, stored, and shipped accurately.
- Implement and enforce strict safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety training and ensure compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency in logistics.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Train employees on proper lifting techniques and safe work practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
