Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming merchandise.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy and speed.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in designated areas.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE during all warehouse activities.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
- Contribute to efficient logistics by ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- This role involves significant lifting and physical exertion, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, is a plus.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for long hours.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to smooth logistics.
- Must be comfortable with regular lifting tasks.
