Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Stage outgoing shipments for timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Handle the physical demands of the job, including significant lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to team efforts by collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Understand and follow instructions precisely to ensure order accuracy and prevent errors in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
