We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and correct shipments reach our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations using a pick list or scanner.
- Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Package selected items securely for shipment, applying appropriate labels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the picking zones.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and stock replenishment activities.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.
- Understand and follow directions to ensure efficient workflow.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to help.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence in all tasks.
- Familiarize yourself with the logistics of our warehouse to optimize picking routes and efficiency.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse or picking experience is a plus. Ability to read and understand pick lists and product codes. Basic math skills. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. This is a physically demanding role that requires consistent lifting and movement. We prioritize safety and expect all employees to adhere to strict guidelines.
