You will be responsible for both receiving incoming inventory, verifying its accuracy, and preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring they meet all standards. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and discrepancies, reporting issues as needed.
- Enter received inventory data into the tracking system accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform manual handling tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a Shipping & Receiving role or similar warehouse capacity.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and shipping software.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, and significant Lifting .
- Must wear required PPE , including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to promoting a culture of workplace safety .
