Our state-of-the-art facility in Los Angeles, California is seeking a dedicated Receiving Clerk to manage inbound shipments. The Receiving Clerk is a cornerstone of our Logistics operations, responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming goods. Key duties include unloading delivery vehicles, inspecting incoming merchandise for damage or discrepancies, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and assigning received items to their correct warehouse locations. Maintaining a clean and safe receiving area is paramount. This role demands strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks. Previous experience in a warehouse receiving environment is highly preferred. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Inspect all deliveries for damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Accurately record receiving information into the inventory system.
- Stock received inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Report any receiving issues or discrepancies immediately.
- Adhere to all company Safety standards and protocols.
- Ensure the consistent use of appropriate PPE.
- Support the overall efficiency and accuracy of our Logistics department.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse receiving role. Proficiency in inventory verification and data entry. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 pounds. Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
