We are seeking dedicated Order Pickers to join our bustling distribution center in Huntsville, Alabama. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will involve locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices, ensuring the correct product and quantity are selected. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Utilize scanning equipment and pick lists to ensure order accuracy.
- Verify product codes and quantities during the picking process.
- Meet established picking performance goals and quality standards.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Understand and follow warehouse logistics and workflow.
Qualifications:
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Commitment to Safety and following all guidelines.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
