We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our Atlanta, Georgia facility. This role requires a blend of technical aptitude and operational knowledge to maintain equipment and support warehouse activities. You will be involved in troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance on machinery, and assisting with inventory management. A strong focus on Safety and adherence to established procedures is essential for this position. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our Logistics operations. You will play a key role in ensuring our equipment functions optimally and our warehouse runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, pallet jacks).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working order.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Support inventory management processes, including receiving and put-away.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, following all safety protocols.
- Use and maintain required PPE diligently.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or maintenance role.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to warehouse equipment.
- Understanding of Logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with Safety procedures and practices in an industrial environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear appropriate PPE , such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Good communication skills.
