We're hiring a dedicated Warehouse Associate for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is fundamental to our operational success, involving the movement and management of inventory. Your responsibilities will include receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking customer orders, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Store inventory accurately in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Retrieve items from storage to fulfill outgoing orders efficiently.
- Pack products securely for shipping, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all warehouse areas.
- Participate in inventory checks and stocktaking activities.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all company Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Properly use required PPE , including safety shoes and gloves.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Capable of performing tasks involving continuous movement, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be willing to wear and maintain provided PPE .
- Understanding of Logistics principles.
