We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment, playing a critical role in our supply chain operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and meticulously packing them for shipment to our valued customers. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the warehouse. This position is ideal for individuals who are proactive, enjoy physical work, and thrive in a team-oriented setting. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and ensuring all team members are equipped with the necessary PPE. Adherence to all safety guidelines is paramount. The role involves frequent lifting and moving of packages, making physical stamina a key requirement. Understanding the flow of goods within the logistics network is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning equipment.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
