We are seeking diligent and motivated Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and meticulously packing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to maintain high standards of productivity and accuracy while adhering to all company safety protocols. Understanding warehouse layouts and inventory management systems will be beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order sheets.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for inventory purposes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions:
