*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients to help them achieve optimal functioning in their daily activities. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and various therapeutic techniques to support individuals across different age groups, including geriatrics and pediatrics. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
* Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on improving patients' ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
* Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients' functional capabilities.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and strategies for maintaining independence.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care, home health, and occupational health settings.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical standards.
* Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through ongoing education and professional development.
*Qualifications*
* Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and therapeutic techniques relevant to patient care.
* Experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, home health, or acute care settings is preferred but not required.
* Ability to develop effective care plans based on patient assessments.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.77 per hour
