CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $28 Per Hour   

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Springfield, MA. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, 3am - 4am Start time, 14 hour days

• Pay:  $28 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours, $1,100 - $1,200 Estimated Weekly Pay

• Route Type: Local covering CT, RI, MA, Boston and Cape Cod, NH, NY- Utica/Albany. 1-8 Stops per day 

• Freight / Load Type: Hauling food to warehouses, driver will load/unload 

• Handling: Touch Freight, loading/unloading of product is required using electric pallet jack. Some sites require breakdown, some sites will offload themselves

CDL A  Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A  

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:   

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport food in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including loading/unloading of product

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including (lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable)
