In this role, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your primary duties will include reading order sheets, using scanning equipment, verifying product details, and ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected. This position is vital to our order fulfillment accuracy and speed, contributing directly to our customer satisfaction. We maintain a strong focus on safety, requiring all employees to adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. The role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and movement throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Use RF scanners or other technology to track picked items and inventory levels.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending and reaching. Experience with warehouse equipment and RF scanners is a plus. Commitment to workplace safety is mandatory; proper use of PPE is essential. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be reliable and punctual. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
