Are you a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator looking for your next career move? We have an exciting opportunity in Durham, North Carolina! In this role, you will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse, contributing directly to our logistics success. This position requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to strict Safety guidelines, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You must be proficient in operating various types of forklifts and have a proven track record of safe operation. The use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. This role involves moderate to heavy Lifting, often of pallets weighing several hundred pounds, as well as some manual handling of goods. A good understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory management is highly desirable. You will be responsible for conducting daily pre-shift checks on equipment and reporting any issues immediately. Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace is also a key responsibility.
