Job Summary:
Are you meticulous and detail-oriented? Our Denver, Colorado facility is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse stock. This role is vital for our logistics operations, ensuring that inventory records are precise and that stock levels are optimized. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing measures to prevent future errors. This position demands a sharp mind, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of inventory management. The Inventory Control Specialist will work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and management to ensure smooth operations. Proficiency in inventory management software and systems is highly desirable. This role involves regular movement throughout the warehouse and may require occasional lifting of items to access or verify stock. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Identify and implement process improvements for inventory control.
  • Track stock movement and ensure proper storage conditions.
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels, obsolescence, and shrinkage.
  • Work with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accuracy.
  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure proper use of PPE.
  • Assist in coordinating physical inventories.
  • Conduct analysis of inventory data to identify trends and recommend actions.
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting as required for stock verification.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and mandatory PPE usage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
