We are hiring a Warehouse Coordinator for our Jacksonville, Florida location! In this vital role, you will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This includes managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, optimizing storage space, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our logistics flow, from receiving to shipping. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; all employees are expected to adhere strictly to safety regulations and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. This position requires excellent organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Implement and enforce safety policies, including proper PPE usage.
- Manage shipping and receiving schedules.
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
- Track warehouse performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE.
- Experience with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse software.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
