We are hiring Picker/Packers for our dynamic warehouse in San Antonio, Texas. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then preparing them for shipment. This role requires speed, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of work within our Logistics operations. You will be an integral part of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to all Safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is essential. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform tasks involving considerable Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Follow all company policies and Safety procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety gloves and vests.
- Be able to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our Logistics team.
- Champion Safety by following all established guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and item numbers.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
- Capability for significant Lifting of merchandise.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
