Are you a motivated individual seeking a challenging role in San Antonio, Texas? We are looking for a reliable Material Handler to join our busy warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing the movement of materials throughout the facility, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. This includes receiving, storing, and preparing materials for shipment. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to maintain smooth operations and contribute to our Logistics success. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety and the proper handling of goods. This role requires physical stamina and a commitment to following established procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials accurately.
- Pick and pack materials for outgoing shipments.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company policies and Safety procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety vests and gloves when necessary.
- Be capable of performing frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Support the Logistics department in various operational tasks.
- Ensure all material handling is done with the utmost regard for Safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to operate manual material handling equipment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform job duties, including frequent Lifting.
- Detail-oriented and accurate in task completion.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to all protocols.
This position is key to ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our Logistics network. Your diligence in handling and moving materials directly impacts our ability to serve our customers effectively.
