We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is essential for managing the flow of goods and information within our warehouse. You will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory levels, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. A strong understanding of logistics principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety are key requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling of inbound and outbound logistics.
- Manage inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
- Process shipping and receiving documents accurately.
- Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Monitor warehouse stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist in training new warehouse associates on procedures and safety.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all staff.
- Oversee safe material handling and proper lifting techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination, logistics, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
